Bitter cold tonight, it is only slightly above freezing. Tried out the Meade DSI which I have had for a long time but never really used. This picture shows an overexposed trapezium and some nebulosity detail but it's certainly not very impressive. Perhaps a bit of time with photoshop could help it but probably the main issue is lack of proper use by me! It is a single 8 second exposure
