Well I changed my mind and opened up the dome despite the almost full moon.
I've posted a few observations directly from DeepSky and it appears to work. The only issue that I see so far is that the time stamp is not on UTC so each entry shows 2 times, one correct (UTC) and one incorrect (local).
It's kind of fun to post real-time observing log entries to the blog! Of course now I am keeping no less than three logs - one written, one in TheSky, and one in DeepSky. Maybe I need to consolidate?
Fortunately I have web access in the dome, this also allows me to listen to some peaceful tunes via XM or to Let's Talk Stars, research objects as I observe, etc.
