Well I just spent the night observing by the swimming pool. I wanted to image through the refractor instead of the RCX, so I set up next to the Xanadu dome.
It was a fun night despite the full moon, I imaged through an H-alpha filter which is not affected much by the moonlight. I also was able to stay connected to the net and exchanged e-mails with my friend Dean who was also imaging and gave me a lot of valuable pointers.
This picture may look like a daytime shot but it actually was taken in the dark at about 11:45 p.m. The moon was full and I "painted" the scope with a red flashlight during the exposure. Look closely and you can see Deneb along with several other stars.
