We've had a lot of clouds hanging around lately. Today it actually rained, and the mountains got snow. This picture from my backyard shows a little whitening on the mountains, and when the clouds clear off it will be quite nice looking.
Of course the weather has not been good from an astronomy standpoint, but I'm glad to get the rain - we really need it here. If I was a bit more dedicated I'm sure I could find a few openings between the clouds now and then anyway.
Hopefully all this weather will get finished up by late in the week and we can have a clear night for the Messier Marathon!
