OK so tonight I have beenvery careful to make sure I have properly identified the two asteroids, 11 Parthenope and 16 Psyche. I used 2 different programs (TheSky and Starry Night Pro) to locate the background stars and everything was in sync.
I imaged them, carefully rotating the camera so that the motion should be readily visible between two nights. So I'm praying for a clear sky tomorrow night! Of course first I'm planning to go to the TAAA meeting so I'll have to catch them after that - won't be much time for dawdling around after the meeting.
